History of CapeCom

Mining, the second oldest engineering practice mastered by humans, played a pivotal role in civilizational development. CapeCom's founders, with 40 years of experience in mining and mineral processing, envisioned a business model with a net positive carbon footprint.

  • 2005: A discarded mine was transformed into an organic farm, giving rise to CapeFoods.
  • 2011: A zero discharge mineral separation plant in Tamil Nadu showcased early environmental responsibility.
  • 2015: An international venture unfolded with a mining and mineral separation plant in Mozambique for AMHL.
  • 2016: CapeCom Engineering Private Limited was incorporated under the Companies Act of 2013.
  • 2017: Tollar Electronics, specializing in renewal electronics and security systems, was initiated.
  • 2019: A groundbreaking EPC project achieved zero emissions and discharge for a clay mine in Tamil Nadu.
  • 2021: An EPCM project recovered commercial-grade minerals from plant rejects, while a high-purity silica recovery plant was commissioned in Gujarat.
  • 2022: A production line in South Tamil Nadu converted processing plant rejects into precast building blocks, reducing environmental impact.
